Living soil, living wines!

Soil health has always been the focus of this land, so the vines have never received any chemical treatment or fertiliser.
The vineyard was planted in 2009 with 8 different grape varieties. Mainly hybrids. Our work with the vines is to promote biodiversity and the holistic balance of the vineyard by increasing organic matter and promoting microbial activity.

During the growing season, we shower the vines with herbal teas and microbial fermentation to strengthen their immune system. Fertiliser is always sourced naturally from local upland cattle dung, brown algae, compost teas etc.
