In the autumn of 2007, the founders of Oceanbryggeriet were sitting in the same sports pub drinking good beer. When it emerged that we had a brewer, a salesman and an economist in the group, the idea of starting a brewery in Gothenburg emerged. After some paperwork, we bought a brewery plant and built a brewery in Lyckholm's premises in Gothenburg.

In March 2017, Oceanbryggeriet's new brewery was completed on a site in Åby outside Gothenburg.

We have always and will always make, brew, bottle and ship our beer ourselves from the brewery.

Today we are present in many cities and our products can be ordered to all Systembolag in the country.
We have grown from a small brewery working part-time to a larger business with full-time employees and future plans that include becoming a given beer option in Gothenburg and that you should be able to buy our beer no matter where you live in Sweden.
