Qvänum is the brewery and distillery that since 2004 has been housed in the barn at Gategården, in the centre of Varaslätten. The farm is located in the old village of Badene, dating back to the 500s.

We brew and distil with food in focus! Our passion for good food and drink has followed us into the brewery and distillery. We work closely with our customers to find the optimal combination of food and drink.

At Qvänum, beer and spirits are produced in an artisanal and sustainable way with a focus on local raw materials. All electricity comes from solar, wind and hydro power! The brewery and distillery are heated with biofuel. We source as much as we can of raw materials such as grain, malt and hops from the local area and most of it is organic. We do not use any additives and the water is from our own well.
