Our history
It's 2011 and once a month the kitchen at Dan-Magnus Svensson's home in Karlskrona is blocked. The reason? Beer is being brewed. Together with Magnus Karlsson and Mikael Lundell, he experiments with hops, malt and the associated brewing process. And it works: two years later, the newly founded microbrewery Brygghus 19 launches its first craft beer.

Here we are today
'It's an honour to be part of this project' said Dan-Magnus in the interview at the launch of In Flames gin, spring 2024.

We probably don't realise it ourselves, but the small brewery on Västra Kajen in Karlshamn is getting big. We have the world's best brewers, distillers and above all customers, without them we are nothing. On the schedule are festivals, events, launches, there are new beers, more gins, more liqueurs, there are new employees and paternity leave every now and then and somehow it just gets more and more fun.

We've fought like hell with heart and soul through an entire pandemic and are still struggling with a recession, but it feels like we're seeing the end of the tunnel and now we just have to accelerate. We started Brewhouse 19 as the world's most fun hobby, and to this day we are reminded every day of how much fun we have at work! The world's best team, the world's best drinks, put your hat on, let's go!
