The founders of Västerås Destilleri AB are Salar and Emmelie.
Salar has worked as a bartender for 8 years and is particularly passionate about Gin.
Emmelie trained as a chef 13 years ago, but has been working as a pastry chef for the last 6 and has an extra sense for flavours.
How did we decide to start a distillery?
-"Yes, with our knowledge from both the food and beverage industry, we realised that we have a lot to contribute to Swedish craft gin. To be able to start the first craft distillery in Västerås is a privilege.
