All our products are based exclusively on Swedish autumn wheat and are distilled in our manual 110-litre copper pot, located in the historic premises of Reijmyre Glassworks.
The operation of the copper boiler is crucial to the result and means that our Master Distiller, Bex Almqvist, controls reflux, pressure, temperature and cuts entirely by hand. This ensures that the final result is a balanced and richly textured spirit.
One of our most important tasks is to give aquavit the attention it deserves, while providing an insight into the Swedish art of distillation and its craft. We are proud to comply with the EU's rules on protected geographical indications for Swedish Akvavit. This means that Rejmyre Akvavit fulfils specific requirements regarding raw materials, production and characteristics.
