In front of the house in the courtyard is an old vine that was planted at the end of the Second World War.
The vine and our old apple trees came from a nearby nursery to the farm in exchange for meat and vegetables.

In autumn 2006, it bore an incredible amount of grapes. Very suddenly and without thinking, the idea of planting vines on a piece of unused land here on the farm was born. In May 2008, the first Solaris and Rondo vines were planted. Gradually, the vineyard was supplemented with Johanniter, Cabernet Cortis and more Solaris.

The Aplagården vineyard is a commercial vineyard, today with about 12000 vines. But, as they say, ”size does not matter”. Our wines have been awarded several times at international wine judgements.

We are not currently a commercial winery and therefore cannot sell our wines.
