At the far end of Näsudden, between Hablingbo and Fidenäs, the vines grow next to the sea and in the middle of the wind turbines at Gute Vingård. Most people know that the sun shines the brightest and most on Gotland, but fewer people realise that the soil is also optimal for viticulture.
With its seaside location, there is no frost and with vines so close to the sea in a limestone-rich landscape, unique flavours are created as the grapes ripen. Producing Champagne according to the "champagne method" as Gute vineyard does is unique in its kind and gives an exclusive feeling when walking between the vineyards on southern Gotland.
