Kvarnagårdens Brewery was started in 2014 and is located just outside Braås, north of Växjö, in the middle of Småland's deep forests.
For many years, we have been interested in the exciting beer that is now available in Sweden. Stefan had long harboured the idea of starting his own brewery at home on the farm from his work and studies. He managed to plant a seed with the rest of us and that's how it happened. We home-brewed together for a while and then felt it was time to start Kvarnagårdens Bryggeri. In this way we could start sharing our beer.

We hope that through our beer and our work we can make more people in Småland realise how great beer can taste and smell.

We want to create something unique and we want to be good neighbours. We use organic ingredients as far as possible, the draff/malt residue is eaten by the local farmer's cows and the brewery's electricity comes directly from the rapids in Mörrumsån, a stone's throw from the brewery.
