Perfectly Squared Brewing was founded in the summer of 2019 by Loa Ahlqvist and Robert Wedmo. The two homebrewing friends were having a well-deserved beer at a brewery pub in Visby after a long day at Almedal week when they suddenly saw an ad online about a brewery that was for sale in Växjö.
Then the talk started that maybe it was time to switch up from home brewing to commercial brewing.

As the rest of the week went on, so did the thoughts of Loa and Robert's own brewery. and when it was time to go back to Skåne, they both took the route around växjö and... Yes, bought a brewery.

During the autumn, a search was made for a suitable premises to start up in, and the choice ended up being an old agricultural property in Dalby.

The premises were completed and just in time for the pandemic to hit Sweden in March 2020, the brewery was ready to brew its first beers. Despite the bad timing, the guys persevered, with a lot of help from family and friends, and the turnover almost doubled every business year.

In the summer of 2021, they opened a brewpub at the brewery, which immediately became a success among Dalby residents.

During 2023 Robert left the company but remains a committed partner.
