Sävenfors Lodge & Winery

We have created a winery in the centre of the forest pantry

Here we process wild berries into berry wines, schnapps, vinegar and ice cream - which enhance both food and cooking. But the winemaking itself is hardly new to us. Under the name Grythyttan Vin, we have been producing natural berry wines from cloudberries, lingonberries, blueberries, wild raspberries and birch sap since 1999. What is new in this context is that we have moved our winemaking into the old power station here at Sävenfors Lodge.

Our products with a taste of nature are all refined from raw materials from Swedish forests and mountains. Much of it comes from the wilderness that surrounds our winery. In addition to producing flavourful products that are suitable for both food and cooking, we naturally also offer guided tours with wine tastings. But of course you can also experience our berry wines in our restaurant, where we design the dinner after the wines, instead of the other way round.
