Skrea Backe, where you can find our family members Prostens Pizza and Skrea Matbruk, is an incredibly beautiful agricultural landscape just outside Falkenberg where lush forest meets the living sea and its surroundings.

The distillery is located next to the restaurant Skrea Matbruk, so if you happen to pass by and visit us, you can both try a good cocktail combined with incredible pasta, all served in a setting that overlooks both vineyards and kilometres of fields. Sounds almost too good to be true, doesn't it?

The four friends we mentioned earlier are Albert Nilsson, Filip Karlsson, Marcus Nordgren and Viktor Larsson, who all met while serving drinks and cooking together at Prostens Pizza and Skrea Matbruk, which Marcus owns and runs with his wife Lisa Lemke. Together they all have a passion for food and wine, but also shared a dream of doing something more. The idea of developing and improving Swedish craft spirits began to emerge, and here at Skrea Backe we like to turn dreams into reality.
