Jernverk 25

Jernverk 25 is a modern microdistillery in the heart of Gävle, located in the historic industrial buildings on Tredje Tvärgatan. Here, the city’s rich industrial history intertwines with a new generation of spirits artisans who, with passion and experience—including from Mackmyra—have created a place where quality, creativity, and a deep connection to the craft take center stage.
Production takes place in small batches and includes single malt whiskey, barrel-aged gin, and aquavit. What these spirits have in common are carefully selected ingredients and a distinct character. The distillery’s approach is based on faster maturation in smaller barrels, which yields spirits with both depth and personality in a shorter time.
A special part of the experience at Jernverk 25 is the opportunity to create your own signature drink. As a visitor, you get to choose the recipe, the cask, and the aging time—thus becoming part of the process from the first drop to the finished bottle.
