Kinda Bränneri

Kinda Bränneri is a family-run farm distillery in Nygärde, just outside Kisa in Östergötland, where five family members spanning two generations are carrying on the tradition together on a farm that has been in the family since 1893. Here, they craft robust and authentic spirits with roots in Kinda’s forests, meadows, and lakes. The entire process takes place on the farm—from recipe development and distillation to bottling and labeling—with a clear focus on craftsmanship, quality, and local roots. Among the products is Kinda Gårdsgin, a dry artisanal gin with notes of juniper berries, citrus, lingonberries, and a mild herbal note from meadowsweet. The philosophy is as simple as it is clear: high quality without pretension.

Visitors get an up-close look at both the people and the craftsmanship behind the bottles through guided tours where the family shows guests around the farm and distillery, explains the production process, and shares the story behind Kinda Bränneri. There is both a roughly 30-minute farm shop tour and a more comprehensive gin tasting lasting about 90 minutes. After the tour, guests who are 20 years of age or older can purchase the distillery’s products in accordance with farm shop regulations.
