Kvarnagårdens Bryggeri

Kvarnagårdens Bryggeri was founded in 2014 and is located just outside Braås, north of Växjö, in the heart of Småland’s deep forests.
For many years, we’ve been fascinated by the exciting beers now available in Sweden. Through his work and studies, Stefan had long harbored the idea of starting his own brewery right here on the farm. He planted a seed in the rest of us, and that’s how it all began. We homebrewed together for a while and then felt it was time to launch Kvarnagårdens Bryggeri. This allowed us to start sharing our beer with others.
We hope that through our beer and our work, we can help more people in Småland discover just how amazing beer can taste and smell.
We want to create something unique, and we want to be good fellow human beings. We use organic ingredients as much as possible; the spent grain is fed to local farmers’ cows, and the brewery’s electricity comes directly from the rapids in the Mörrum River, just a stone’s throw from the brewery.
