Maglehems musteri

The Apple Farm and Maglehem Cider Mill are located just north of Maglehem. The farm is like something out of a fairy tale—with its view of Hanö Bay and Stenshuvud in the background. The farm is home to a thousand old apple trees, planted over 70 years ago. These are traditional Swedish apple varieties such as Cox Pomona, Cox Orange, Ingrid Marie, Ribston, Gravenstiener, and others—carefully and organically cultivated—for the sake of great flavor.
In one of the farm’s old stone barns is the cider house where the farm’s entire production is handled. Pressing the apples correctly and at the right time, and blending different varieties to achieve the right balance of aroma, flavor, and color is a demanding craft. This craft is the foundation of all our beverages. Both our wines and our calvados are then aged for several years in French oak barrels to achieve the right maturity with a rich and full-bodied flavor. Since 2011, our beverages have been available at Systembolaget stores.
