Pax Brygghus

Since we started brewing in our new premises in the old country store in Flyinge and launched our first beer at Systembolaget at the turn of 2016/2017, demand has grown rapidly. We are both proud and delighted with the reception we’ve received. A combination of craftsmanship, engineering expertise, determination, and vision has brought us this far.
In the spring of 2019, we acquired Lycke Bryggeri in Mölnlycke Fabriker to rapidly expand our capacity while also entering the beer scene in Sweden’s Beer Capital—Gothenburg. It has been an exciting adventure, but unfortunately, a year later, we have decided to consolidate all production in Skåne, as we could not find a viable way to launch and brew the same products in two regions. Going forward, all beer from both Pax and Lycke will be produced in Flyinge, supplemented by the tanks that, following the move, are now housed at Fulltofta Gårdsbryggeri with a lake view next to Ringsjön.
In October 2019, we hired Jens Bergström as brewer and quality manager.  He suggested we make Christmas soda, which was an instant hit and sold out before Christmas even arrived. The soda marked the start of our completely non-alcoholic lineup, now expanded with the Tahonga series.
When a little female kitten showed up outside the brewery on December 16 and no one wanted to claim her, order was finally restored. After the brewery outgrew its first tiny space in our home storage room, we also lost our brewery cat; Pax still lives at home. But now Lavin (the name our son gave the little kitten, after our latest beer at the time) greets us every morning and keeps us company late into the evening.
