Stjernsund Bränneri

Stjernsund Distillery is a small-scale, passionate craft distillery, beautifully situated in the historic industrial setting of Stjärnsund, Dalarna. In an old transformer station—which gives the distillery its unique character—spirits are crafted with great care and respect for both ingredients and the art of distilling.
Here, a wide range of gins is created: Stjernsund Dry Gin, Navy Gin, Pink, Barrel-Aged Gin, and Old Tom. The flavor profile is based on classic notes of juniper and citrus, but is often complemented by local and unexpected elements such as spruce shoots, myrtle, and pink peppercorns. The result is spirits with a distinct identity and a unique taste experience.
As a visitor, you can participate in tastings and tours that offer insight into the entire production process—from distillation to bottling and hand-applied labeling in small batches. The distillery also hosts pub nights and special events where the drinks meet the local culture and environment.
