Timjans Brygghus

Ten years ago, there were only a handful of craft breweries in Sweden. In recent years, the scene has exploded. We think that’s fantastic—that so many of us are curious about craft beer. Because there are so many more exciting beers to discover.
Our names are Christer and Anette. We’ve always had a deep interest in food and drink, and for just over a year now, we’ve been brewing craft beer at home on Timjanvägen in Halmstad. What we like most about the brewery is the flavors and the conversations with our guests. Yes, it turned out that many people liked our beer. The brewery quickly outgrew our home, and we began searching for a beautiful spot where we could create a brewery pub—a place and taproom to brew, bottle, enjoy, and experience. Yes, to invite and show all of you who also love craft beer what goes on behind the scenes and let you taste it.
We found the place, and work and preparations are now in full swing. This spring, the time has come—to welcome you all to Timjans Brygghus—our very own taproom in the beautiful cultural setting of Heagårds outside Halmstad. Just the right distance from the city’s hustle and bustle, yet close enough for you to bike here after work. Here you’ll be able to shop for and sample delicious craft beer and Christmas soda, tonic with thyme and other exciting flavors, and regular soda. There’s plenty of room here for community and conversation. We promise you high-quality craft beer in a beautiful, historic setting.
