Västerås Destilleri

We, the founders of Västerås Destilleri AB, are Salar and Emmelie.
Salar has been working as a bartender for 8 years and has a particular passion for gin.
Emmelie trained as a chef 13 years ago, but has worked as a pastry chef for the past 6 years and has a keen sense of flavor.

How did we decide to start a distillery?
Well, with our knowledge from both the food and beverage industries, we realized we have a lot to contribute to Swedish craft gin. It’s also a privilege to be able to start the first craft distillery in Västerås.
