Wernamo Craft Brewery

We’re a small brewery that also runs a brewpub and restaurant—Wernamo Brygghus. We’re an independent operation, but you’ll find us in the same building as the Best Western Hotel Värnamo.
At our brewery, we brew a wide variety of beer styles; in our first year alone, we produced a total of 27 different beers. We serve all the beer we brew in our own restaurant—Wernamo Brygghus—and always have 10 of our own beers on tap, and now several in cans or bottles as well. Eventually, we also hope to be able to sell beer in connection with events at our brewery, known as “farm sales”—more information on this will follow.

We organize beer tastings for both small and large groups. In our restaurant, you can always purchase a beer tasting set, known as a Beer Flight, where you choose four of the beers we have on tap (about 15 cl of each) and sample them on your own.
In the restaurant, we serve almost exclusively SWEDISH CRAFT BEER, with the exception of a few Belgian beers that make it onto our menu. We offer simple but delicious pub food and, of course, our specialty—smørrebrød.
On Wednesdays of odd-numbered weeks, we host a quiz. Sometimes we run “Öltrippen,” which is a combination of beer tasting and “På spåret,” and sometimes we run a Theme Quiz—check the calendar if you want to know when we’re hosting which event. During the summer, we take a break from quizzes but instead host “Sommarkryss” every Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
We have board games available to borrow and two dartboards that can be used for 120 SEK/hour/board if you’d like to find an activity during your visit with us.
On Wednesdays of even weeks, we host the knitting pub “Stick & Drick” starting at 5:00 PM.
We’re licensed for 80 guests in our restaurant, and on certain evenings—mainly Fridays, quiz nights, and when we’re hosting an event—we fill up quickly, so we recommend booking a table if you know you want to come on a specific date. We have a number of walk-in seats that cannot be reserved, so if you haven’t secured a table, you can still stop by and hope for the best!

For certain events (beer tastings and performances), we sell tickets via Billetto. All proceeds go exclusively to the performers. We always release a maximum of 60 tickets so that we can also keep a number of walk-in spots available. Walk-in spots are free but cannot be reserved in advance; it’s first come, first served, and once we’re full (80 people), we’re full.
